Update 3.3 - Live stream today of the new map

We’re going live on Twitch today at 7pm BST to reveal the brand-new map currently in development for Deceit 2 - coming in Season 4. This is your first chance to see it in action before release. The stream will focus exclusively on this new map; its design, features, and gameplay. We’ll mainly be answering map-related questions during the session. That said, feel free to drop any other questions in chat - we’ll be keeping track for future updates. Join us later!
Legacy Mode: Community Poll Results Are In!
Thanks to everyone who took part in our recent development direction poll! Your feedback helps shape the future of Deceit 2: Legacy Mode. Here's a summary of the decisions we’ll be moving forward with:
Next Map: Arctic
Deceit 1 perks coming to Legacy:
Speedy Recovery: Health packs will instantly heal for 25 HP upon pickup.
Sixth Sense: All accessible blood bags will be highlighted during night time.
Legacy is moving to a Ranked only queue:
Win Condition: Wins will be based on team success – but be warned: leaving early, even as a spectator, will count as a loss.
Rank Reset: At the start of a new season, you’ll drop to approximately half of your previous Rank. If you don’t participate in a season, your Rank will reset completely.
We will monitor the launch closely, if we need to add a restriction, it will be minimum level 10, as per the poll results.
While the community leaned slightly in favor (54%) of making hold-interact-to-revive the default behavior, we feel that the margin isn’t strong enough to justify changing this mechanic at this time. We’ll continue to monitor the conversation and may revisit this topic in a future poll.
