Some World Makers websites use optional analytics to understand how people find and use them. Google Analytics stays blocked until you accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to the website.

This information applies to every World Makers website, including worldmakers.com, deceit.gg and playmvx.com. They share the same consent controls, but browsers keep cookies separately for each website, so each website that uses analytics asks for your choice on your first visit. A website that uses no optional services shows no cookie banner, because it stores nothing that needs your consent.

Your choices

The first banner offers equally prominent “Accept all” and “Reject all” choices. “Manage choices” lets you decide by purpose. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Manage cookies” in the footer. If you do not choose, optional services remain off.

Storage used

NamePurposeDuration
wm_consentRemembers the cookie purposes you accepted or rejected.6 months
_gaDistinguishes a browser for Google Analytics. Set only after acceptance.Up to 6 months after the latest visit
_ga_<container-id>Maintains Google Analytics session state. Set only after acceptance.Up to 6 months after the latest visit

The consent preference is essential because it records a choice you asked the site to remember. Analytics storage is optional. Withdrawing analytics removes known first-party Analytics cookies and prevents Analytics loading on later pages.

Google Analytics

If accepted, Google Analytics may process information such as pages visited, approximate location, referral source, device and browser details, and interaction timing. We disable Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals in the website configuration. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or other directly identifying form data to Analytics. Google’s privacy policy also explains its processing.

Other website technology

Pages, fonts, images, videos and interaction scripts are served as first-party resources. News articles link to external media instead of loading third-party players on the page. Following an external link takes you to a different service with its own privacy and cookie terms. Hosting and security providers process ordinary web requests and server logs so they can deliver and protect the site.

Website editor

The separate /admin/ area is for authorised World Makers editors. Signing in uses GitHub, which may use its own cookies or browser storage under GitHub’s terms. The editor is not loaded on public visitor pages.

If services change

The consent system is organised by purpose rather than tied to one provider. We will update this page and request a new choice before adding a provider or purpose that materially changes what you previously agreed to.
